A few weeks ago, @Nike removed an ad campaign featuring the song “Gold” by Artists Biji & @ConductaUK. This song celebrates Kurdish culture with the lyrics, “I like to wear my gold, like a Kurdish mum.”

Nike pulled the ad after an outcry from Turkish fascists and racists who cannot tolerate the existence of Kurdish culture. This action by Nike supports and condones these fascists and racists, setting a dangerous precedent.

Retweet this and expose Nike’s hypocrisy on diversity. Apparently, their commitment to diversity excludes Kurds.
