The display was hacked by a teenager who displayed the swastika. He was detained and later charged with displaying Nazi symbols, which is a criminal offence in Ukraine.
@WorkersPartyGB Custo acreditar que o povo alemão vai aceitar que seu dinheiro sirva para financiar um estado que tolera esta atrocidade em pleno século XXI.
@ValentinaForUSA Congratulations, you're not just 🦇💩, you have just demonstrated why you've been banned. Rude, despicable, and just plain vile. We don't want you or your MAGAts in our country. If you really are desperate to break into a country, then try Iran. Good luck!
3/ Unfortunately there were people carrying and in one case selling Iranian regime flags ... and also offensive "Zionists go home" chants from far left antisemitic groups... if it were up to me they would have been kicked off the demo ...
Serhiy Zhadan’s anarchic persona and promotion of Ukrainian culture have endeared him to a younger audience reckoning with Russian aggression https://t.co/Vid4WfMbQW
“In order to be free you have to have a little bit of courage.”
UNITED24 Ambassador @TimothyDSnyder was invited by @serhiy_zhadan to the DUKAT Art Foundation gallery to talk about freedom.
On Freedom was held with the support of @khartiia_eng.
This has been one of my main warning points. The sense of urgency is simulated. There’s no emergency. They are racing ahead in order to 1) break guardrails before they can be repaired and 2) push their loyalists past a point of no return. From my Feb 2025 Atlantic article: "These are not the acts of people who expect to lose power any time soon, or ever. They are racing to the point where they will not be able to afford to lose control of the mechanisms they are ripping up and remaking in their image. What such people will do when they believe that mounting a coup is the lesser risk to their fortunes and power cannot be predicted." https://t.co/2XTalZpX8q
This is insane. Kyiv has been under an intense russian drone attack for more than 4h now. In broad daylight, russia executes a city of 4M people. With full impunity, russia destroys Ukraine. #russiaisaterroriststate
Look at this beautiful girl. She was full of love and joy for life.
Even with all the restrictions and bans in Iran, she broke the rules and followed her passion. A strong, fearless young woman who went against the Islamic Republic’s laws that say women can’t ride motorcycles, and became a professional rider anyway.
Diana was only 19 when the mullah regime militia murdered her. Her Instagram account @baby.rideerrrr had more than 100k followers. Her only crime was being born under an Islamist dictatorship, which murdered her on January 9, 2026.

Great powers have always, to some extent, written the rules for themselves. But this should be a reminder that for all we might lament the “rules based order”, it’s largely gone, if it ever existed as we thought it did. America has gone its own way and is at best indifferent to her old allies. Hard power is the only thing which matters now. Europe needs to wake up to the new realities.
Comparison of tweets from comrade @jeremycorbyn on Ukraine & Venezuela.
-Russia "enters", USA makes "illegal attack"
-Russia actioned excused cos of NATO. USA accused of wanting oil
-Russia created a "crisis" & offered diplomacy. USA "should be condemned by everyone"
🇺🇦🇬🇧 Ukrainian choir performed Carol of the Bells for the Christmas greetings of the British King Charles III.
The world-famous Christmas song is based on the Ukrainian "Shchedryk".
Irakli Kobakhidze says there were no crackdowns and that this is the “first lie” in the BBC investigation, demanding an apology from the UK.
In this footage you can clearly see how the riot police are not dispersing #GeorgiaProtests.
I’ve been reporting from the ground for 10 years, and I’ve never seen anything even close to what I witnessed today and yesterday.
This feels like a turning point in #GeorgiaProtests. I have never seen the Georgian people so unyielding. Just last week, I wrote that the smaller crowds in the streets compared to spring meant nothing — except that the anger hadn’t gone anywhere. Instead, it was simmering, growing stronger, waiting for the regime’s next mistake to erupt with even greater force.
Today’s riot was dispersed so many times, in such brutal ways, that I’ve lost count. So many people were bloodied. So many were detained.
Yet even now, Rustaveli Avenue is filled with people — beaten, bruised, exhausted, disappointed, and fiercely angry — but still holding EU flags with pride. Because we believe, that Europe is our home, and we will not surrender it at any cost.
Help us. Don’t let us lose this country to the Russians. No one has fought harder for it than we have.
DOGE was a colossal failure.
By destroying instruments of American soft power such as USAID, Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, and Radio Free Asia, DOGE only helped our autocratic adversaries without advancing a single American national interest.
