I'll continue to mourn my beloved fallen King Oyo but as a proud Mutooro who loves her culture & kingdom so much, I won't keep quiet about everything happening.
I believe it's my right b'se I'm a descendant of the great Land of Tooro.
I'll SPEAK!
Rest in peace Amooti.🕊️🙏💔
Today, I received the body of His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, at Entebbe International Airport.
The Queen Mother first informed me of his illness in November 2025, and we supported efforts to secure specialised treatment for him in Germany and later in the United States. Unfortunately, he died.
Throughout his reign as King of Tooro, Oyo was a good person and a good leader. His passing is a great loss to the people of Tooro and Uganda.
I encourage the people of Tooro to remain calm and avoid disorganisation, even in this difficult time.
May the Lord grant him eternal rest. Amen.
One thing that hurts most is there's a bunch of a few individuals on here who've taken it upon themselves to give opinions especially about the succession of our king.
1. They ain't Batooro!
2. They even don't know our culture!
3. It's not their business!
4. They're ignorant!
Can you people leave us to mourn in peace first.
I remember as a small girl during my early primary going days as I was always among those few chosen pupils who performed for His Majesty at his coronations.
I remember when I chosen to perform for him a special piece on his 18th birthday.
How I loved my king! Now I can't believe he's no more.💔😭
Rest in Peace Amooti omurungi.
Enkuba etutiire!! It is a very dark day for Tooro Kingdom 💔💔💔💔
Rest in peace Your Majesty Omukama of Tooro, King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.
Gone too soon. What a loss!!!!
We've made 18000k followers and I'm very humbled.🤗❤️
Thank you for loving your Margie 🌹 from Fort Portal City in Tooro Kingdom.
Road to 20k and I know we shall be there very soon.
I love each one of you so dearly.😍
When His Excellency appointed me to represent him, he offered me his helicopter to facilitate my travel here. However, after learning about the poor condition of the Mityana–Mubende–Kyegegwa–Kyenjojo road, I decided to travel by road to see the situation for myself. It is clear that the road urgently needs rehabilitation.
I instructed the Minister of Finance, who was present with us, to secure the necessary funds within two weeks so that we can begin work on the road without further delay.
