Become someone who wastes nothing. A bad job gives you skills. A difficult person teaches you boundaries. A failed idea gives you better judgement. A random conversation gives you a new perspective. A painful year can completely change what you value. You don't need everything that happens to you to be good. The bad often teaches you to appreciate the good. Be
grateful for what goes right, learn from what goes wrong, and remember that one day the
experiences you struggled through will become the wisdom you live by.
People who aren’t self aware scare me. Because a lot of people really don't realize they're haters, energy drainers, personality duplicators, monitoring spirits, fans, envious, and insecurity projectors. They really think the way they move is normal but when your discernment is sharp, you see it all.
The older I get, the more I see why it's important to only keep people around who have the same morals, manners, and sense of consideration as you. It's not being picky, it's protecting your peace. When you reach a certain stage in life, chaos and disrespect just aren't entertaining anymore. You start craving calm, mutual respect, and people who move with the same kind of heart as you do.
