@AlexSmalexx98@tufpraise not really. if u hang out with people that have opposite beliefs u just dont feel strongly rnough about your own beliefs. "i support equal rights" being friends with "i believe not everyone deserves rights" means theyre both equally as bad
claiming she deserved everything that happened to her is straight up implying that she deserved to be emotionally & verbally abused + groomed by hawkmoth. she’s still a child in the end of the day that made inexcusable actions but her parents are the ones who set that system up
mind you this is the same movie that uses MURDEROUS ZOMBIES THAT ARE ONLY SANE WHEN DRUGGED BY THE GOVERNMENT as a metaphor for PEOPLE OF COLOR 😭😭 the allegories they chose for racism ARE RACIST 😭
Hardly the first one to bring it up but an issue with a lot of larger studios doing "The weird outcast" kid trope is how they strip the politics away from outcasts
Aspects of race, sexuality, able bodiedness etc are removed to be as marketable as possible now
The problem with the whole "Miraculous cat noir" is, that I am pretty sure that they made this so they can use it when the entirety of Paris knows that Ladybug lies to the world
we need a compilation of these movie intros where its like “i’m way too different from the others they all hate me” and it shows us the most normal person design you’ve ever seen
I don’t like it either as a mom design or even a aunt design
She looks more like a older sister or cousin
They should have made her into a older sister or cousin trying take care and raise her younger relatives after they lost their parents/family #hexed#disney
