In a surprising move no one saw coming, Strawberry Shortcake #berryinthebigcity released in China this July 2024 under the name "新草莓甜心"!

So far, only the first 2 seasons are dubbed, no season 3 dub yet.

[Estii @EstuaryEstii]

Oh! A Chinese dub of BitBC did come out!

[Estii @EstuaryEstii]

@FireSparkMLP At a cost-😭

[Estii @EstuaryEstii]

Saw BitBC art I wished I never saw☹️

[Estii @EstuaryEstii]

Hmm, should I make a thread about the history of the 2018 scrapped concept that eventually got reworked into BitBC for more context about it?

[Estii @EstuaryEstii]

- show and neither am I, but I love Berry in the Big City regardless of the nostalgia of growing up w '03. Every reboot has it's own charm! I wish reboots in general do not receive super heavy backlash simply for being new and other reasons

[Estii @EstuaryEstii]

I wont put down any of the reboots from the other years to make BitBC look better, but every reboot of SSC is to cather to the kids of each generation/decade. From the reactions of the BitBC/2018 concept it's clear you guys are obviously not the target audience of the new [1/2]

[Estii @EstuaryEstii]

Being honest, I think this chart and the other charts variants are made for ragebait to hate on the newer gens, it's worse with the terribly inaccurate timelines, the renders they find of BitBC and the inclusion of the concept design from 2018-

[Estii @EstuaryEstii]

Seeing people call the BitBC CG Specials designs of Strawberry and her friends AI Generated is so saddening to me ☹️

[Darling ♡ @darlingalamode]

one day people will learn that the "2019" rendition never made it out of the planning stage and stop including her in these graphics

[Minty💖 @limooosin]

So first of all who decided to update this but still set my girl up with that outdated ass render 😭 Let's clear that up right away

[Estii @EstuaryEstii]

@QuentinOwens11 No... i don't think I do
