This is the price of allowing leftie culture to propagate, everyone has been drowned in militant Feminism and "sexual liberation" for decades.
Now the pendulum is swinging the other way, people really need to stop playing with pendulums.
And remember to raise your damn kids!
A guy on Facebook accused me of not being a conservative because I like Calvin & Hobbes... Apparently Bill Watterson is "a leftist". I don't care about a person's politics. If I like you, I like you. I proudly own every strip released of Calvin & Hobbes. Guess I'm a lefty now.
Also I find it quite terrifying the number of people that just wield words like they're magic spells rather than actually comprehending the concepts and ideas they're talking about.
So I've been perusing things and I've come to a conclusion: the majority of the western world needs to take a Reading Comprehension class and rerun basic friggin English; cause I'm seeing a ton of tards that either miss the point or talk past each other.
@spreadsheeticus I'm just glad he's getting set free, I do wonder if he has plans to go back into business or if he's just gonna retire to a mountaintop.
If you voted for Trump, you don't get to share your family's immigration stories. Don't talk up your hard-working grandfather or tell apocryphal tales of "names changed at Ellis Island." You would have turned your ancestors away and sent them back to whatever they were fleeing.
Screw you @Xbox for bricking my console, I'm not buying another of your PoS consoles.
And as for you @Microsoft, you can take your data brokering, bad updating, government loving, enshittification garbage and shove it all straight up Bill Gates' chocolate starfish.
I can't believe I did it but I did, no more Microsoft.
Windows was formatted over, I cancelled my Game Pass and I have pretty much kissed goodbye account purchases somewhere around one or two thousand dollars, over a decade of stuff.i
I still have my Xbox One but it's been basically useless for a couple years now, even a simplistic game like 'The Long Dark' will crash after maybe 20 minutes, very nice job on the updates there @XboxSupport really making sure my purchases were tooootally not wasted.
I guess this neofetch thing is what the kids post these days when they do the Linux.
Might have to search for a visual scheme I like better but overall it's very cool, seems to run lean and things are snappy and responsive.
Also handy that it comes preloaded with a bunch of the tools and libraries you need to make most games run.
Pic is absolutely terrible but all I have right now, the interface scheme is very cyberpunk/vaporwave but thats awesome too; because files & folders get different colors.
Ok, Garuda Linux is pretty dope.
For one thing it looks cool yet what is really important is the "Assistant" it comes with which is really a stupidly helpful toolbox of things you need for Linux anyway, simplified but it's also teaching me what I need to watch for.
Also need to test some older games, slightly esoteric things like Warrior Kings and Sacrifice. I'm sure Civ 4 will be fine, it's basically just a Python game.
Well that's a bit odd.
I'm running Graveyard Keeper on Linux and getting interesting results.
The native Linux version has a weird tearing that vsync won't fix, meanwhile if I force opengl on the Windows version in Bottles... It fixes the tearing and also runs smooth in the wheat
Anyone who has played GK probably has poor performance in the wheat field, I did even with my native Windows install which is why this is so f'ing bizarre.
Possibly a win from Vulkan, needs more testing though.
