@NimeniEPhrog where the sinners are forced to reflect on themselves for their respective cantos but it doesnt come from within/themselves only because of the contract. We have an example of this self-reflection in leviathan where Verg manifests 2 mang with the emotions tied - guilt and despair

@NimeniEPhrog I think what vespa said is a huge clue onto manifesting shin and mang, with the first step being self-refection. where vergilius mentions that as long as they're "sinners" their ability to wield it is limited, he probably means by their contract and not their power being averaged
