They brave burning buildings, rescue pussycats, and run towards danger to help total strangers; we ❤️ you, @manchesterfire !
Thank you for visiting us today to teach Year 5 how to stay safe this autumn.
We marked @RefugeeWeek as a school recently. Today Rob, a volunteer for @Care4Calais , came in to deliver a lovely assembly about empathy, kindness and the great work C4C does (even if we did get a bit bogged down in Paddington's origin story!). Thank you for visiting us!
David from @Humanists_UK visited us to speak about, amongst other things, life, how we are all technically stardust, and why racism is foolish. As you can see, he had Year 5's undivided attention as he demonstrated an exploding star and showed a 300 million-yr-old fossil!
Today some REAL-LIFE SUPERHEROES visited school! 😎 These amazing, brave firefighters - who do so much to keep us safe all year round - came to remind the children about bonfire night safety. Thank you, @manchesterfire for all you do. ⭐️💪🦸♂️🦸♀️🚒
@janeconsidine Today our awesome TA, Mrs. Lund, brought her gorgeous dog, Mia, into school to meet Year 4.
It was one of the Experience Day lessons for the 'Feast' unit; I bet they'll remember this for years! 😍🐶
In Year 2 they began today by making sure everyone knew what nouns verbs adjectives and adverbs are. #year2#etchellsprimaryschool https://t.co/O6miKWxWOq
