🗣Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have signed a memo asserting their right to self-determination.
The empire that once imposed its model on others now faces questions about its own heritage and future.

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi spend time with Araghchi at the BRICS Summit

Zhang Weiwei: every country that modernized needed a first pot of gold -- the starting capital that gets an economy growing.
"The West got theirs through violence, war, the slave trade. Ruthless plunder, ruthless slaughter."
China earned its own -- "through its own effort and sacrifice."
US-trained economist Wen Yi adds the punchline: Western models literally can't explain where that starting capital comes from. "Economics assumes it's given -- by God."
Which is why copying the Western model was never on offer for the Global South:
"Tell developing nations to copy you -- no pot of gold!"
@PaulDra54109667@penuelist_ I'm dead serious, hear me out. Pen is asking why do people not prioritise protecting the family why do they always do selfish things which will push people away from each other. And I'm asking if it isn't the effect of the bill of rights right given to the consumer(individual)
@penuelist_ I think the State encourages people to be independent individuals and all of us participate willingly with absolute knowledge. So we may be saying that we need to build families as the proverbial unit of the State. But there lies the contradiction.
@Mothematiks Emotional intelligence: not that you don't feel but allowing yourself to go through how you feel with control. Of course spirituality is a catalyst but don't allow feeling to control you believe
@JohnDoeDaoist@ogbanje247@ISephara Even Christianity is not African. Anything African is something that was developed in Africa by Africans. Most technology we use is not African
