EA says in-game ads could become a much bigger part of its future games.

Speaking to investors, EA Entertainment president Laura Miele called in-game advertising “a huge opportunity,” pointing to games like Skate

Rather than interrupting gameplay with pop-ups, EA is exploring branded billboards, clothing, events, and other placements that feel like a normal part of the environment.

EA recently launched EA Advertising, a new division focused on integrating brands into its games.
