I lost a 5-year-old heifer today. She'd been wasting away for weeks. I've never dealt with the loss of an animal this size. What's the saying - If you have livestock, you're going to have dead stock. Still, I'm rattled by her passage from life to death. Necropsy report tomorrow.

I Phuqing hate people… driving home and see one of the pups almost get ran over by a lawnmower. Eventually get pup and hear his sister crying in the woods.. FFS, I couldn’t have left them and felt like a human being.. hopefully we can find a home.. they were dying of thirst and so damn skinny…
