@RebeccaHGoodman I turned my hobby into my full-time job making breastmilk and ashes jewellery - started with zero and now it's my main income - is this something you would be interested in discussing?
Massive congratulations to @FamilyBizPaul for organising such a great #FBOTY2021. It may be virtual but the strength of the #familybusiness community shines through
@thorpers Although apparently I'm a geriatric millennial (rude!!!) I quit my job Jan 1st 2021 to run my built from scratch business after burning out working for a large company during the Pandemic. I realised I am replaceable at work but not at home, I am a mother of a young child.
@ashleyabrmsn Hi! I left my job 1st Jan 2021, after years of 4am starts 14 hour days, barely seeing my child, Pandemic gave me perspective and enough was enough! I'm replaceable at work but not at home, happy to chat Erin 💜
@_oliviamorley I recently left full time employment to go fully self employed, risky during a Pandemic but it was best for me and my family! Happy to chat, Erin 😀
@sparky000 Hey I had burnout end if last year and had to quit my job for my own metal health and we'll being - now fully self employed, let me know if you want to chat about me and my weird and wonderful small business, Erin :)
@John__Glover@Insidermag Hey I'd love to talk to you about how my business has grown and progressed despite Covid and helped me leave full-time employment and go self employed as of Jan 2021, Erin
Thrilled that my piece on working culture, burnout and opportunities for change appears as a special report in @theipaper today. Something I’m particularly passionate about and proud to have written. It’s in print and online.

@bessbrowning91 I gained perspective to see that I needed to change my life, I quit my job to run my weird and wonderful little business full time so I could see my child for more that 30 minutes a day! We now have family dinners which a year a go was unheard of! Couldn't be happier 💜
@AnyaMeyerowitz My positive is that it gave me the perspective to change. To change my life, quit my job and work on my own business whilst actually being able to have family time - which is priceless! Erin Parnell
@sparky000 My keepsake jewellery business grew from strength to strength, I was prepared for it to fail but instead it's done so well I gave up my corporate job in January to go fully self employed 💜
