When asked about his plans to play at the next level, Wilson said, "I do plan on playing after college, but we'll see how that plays out later on." Finally, when asked about his favorite part of the season, Wilson responded, "Winning the last 4 games to become bowl eligible.

When asked about being a student-athlete, Wilson said, "The best way I can balance my time being a student-athlete is to not procrastinate and make sure I'm staying on top of your school work, because if you don’t then you can’t play football."
