#sorare
- Drowning in debts
- Years of mismanagement
- Poor recruitment and decision making
- Owners taking billions from the club
- Terrible decision making from top to bottom
Enough is enough.

One of my favourite journalists has written the most delicious piece and I urge you to read it. Jonathan absolutely rinses Wilcox and rightly so. No paywall. https://t.co/E0Qi9VO6tq

The Manchester United "Squad building" myth
One thing that pisses me off coming from the latest #managerout crowd is the constant barrage of:
"we've spent millions on HIS signings for HIS style" "signing players only for his style will set us back years"
"he's got his players and still can't compete"
"his style needs too many specialist profiles"
This is all bollocks.
A) He's signed 4 players and 3 have barely played 2-3 games together.
B) All the players signed can play in multiple systems, not just Rubens.
C) Our squad is 3-5 players short of being decent, the same problem thats hurt EVERY manager post Fergie.
But even putting all that to the side, our squad building ability has been shit for years and like it or not our squad barely scrapes into the top 6-8 and yet fans want, expect and demand form of a top 4 club🤷
Every single manager post Fergie reached the stage of:
"the squad is better than this"
"this squad would do so much more with a new manager"
"if only the manager played XXX we'd be much better"
and in hindsight always turns out to be bollocks and each manger has failed again and again..
In the end everything can be pointed back at the Glazers, poor transfers and poor squad building, never seeing a project, a rebuild through and never giving ANY manager the players they need to compete.
Regardless who the manager is and regardless what system is being played to compete in the Premier League today you need physical, fast, technically sound players that have composure. You need monsters.
Go and look at the squads of Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City or Chelsea... particularly there starting 11's. They are FULL of PL Proven players with 3-5 years PL experience.
Our squad doesnt even come close, this is the current state of our squad:
I'll let you guess the players:
GK - Unproven in PL / Backup: Unproven in PL
LWB - Unproven in PL / Backup: Unproven in PL
CB - Decent / Backup: Injury prone
CB - Slow as fuck / Backup: Kid learning
CB - Decent young learning CB / Backup: Injury prone
RWB - Playing out of position / Backup: Don't even go there
CM - Learning a new position, not natural / Backup: young, fitness issues, not creative, not physical enough
CM - Declining / Backup: zero confidence or technical ability.
L.10 - Decent / Backup: Injury Prone
ST - Unproven in PL / Backup: Not a natural ST
R.10 - Decent / Backup: Playing at RWB or in CM
You all want to berate Ruben Amorim but not willing to accept our squad is way off. It doesn't matter who the manager is, not a single manager since the day Fergie left has been given a full squad and a decent starting 11 without having 2 or 3 melons in it producing constant brain farts..
Maguire, Shaw, Dalot, Casemiro, Bayindir to name a few, 5 starters that wouldn't get anywhere near any other Top 8 starting 11. Give Ruben or any manager a chance without those players and then judge them, give a manager a fighting chance.
INEOS are trying, trying to fix it, trying to change it, trying to buy good, young players but unfortunately the financial constraints and dirty baggage from the Glazers era will no doubt drag Ruben down with it... Maybe one day people will start going after the real bad guys and stop battering the ones trying to fix the mess they put us in.
Ruben Amorim has had a harder start to the season than both Eddie Howe and Unai Emery, and yet Manchester United are ahead of both Villa and Newcastle.
Ones under pressure, the other two aren’t.. ✨#MUFC
🚨Ruben Amorim needs time to rebuild this United and fans need to give him that time. Greatness doesn’t happen overnight — history proves it.
Sir Alex took 5 years to truly get it right. Klopp needed 5 years before Liverpool were contenders. Arteta the same at Arsenal. Pep walked into City with a world-class squad and an unlimited budget.
Amorim inherited a broken Manchester United. He’s clearing out deadwood, killing player power, and forcing the club to finally recruit with brains instead of panic. That’s not a quick fix, that’s a cultural reset — and it takes time.
Even Omar Berrada has said the goal is to win the league by 2028. That tells you everything — Amorim is here for the long-term, not a hire-and-fire gamble.
Yes, the results will sting sometimes, but rebuilds are never built in months. If United want to be back on top, patience isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity. Amorim deserves the time. Back him. #MUFC
@MirrorFootball @MirrorDarren You're a sad sack of so called journalists, honestly.
I hope you hate that the only thing you can write that gets clicks is pure tripe that you've made up about Man Utd because you clearly aren't good enough to write anything of substance and value.
Does nobody notice that the two managers who actually tried to fix the problems at the core of Man Utd are the low win rates here...?
It is because the players dont want to change the way things are, if they did it would be a different story all together.
😳 Ruben Amorim has the lowest win rate of any Manchester United manager in the Premier League era:
- Ruben Amorim: 35.6%
- Ralf Rangnick: 37.9%
- Louis van Gaal: 52.4%
- David Moyes: 52.9%
This.
Why the fuck is everyone believing all the absolute nonsense these "journalists" are spinning? They need your clicks, and they won't get them telling you that Kobbie Mainoo is valued at Utd and is also known to be the future. Hes 20 years old can everyone relax... #mufc
Brighton value Carlos Baleba 21yrs at £110m plus
Crystal Palace value Adam Wharton 21yrs at £70m plus
Liverpool signed Florian Wirtz 22yrs in a deal worth £116.5m
But I’m meant to believe that Man United value Kobbie Mainoo 20yrs, our most valuable young talent at just £45m or less? And you lot believe this fake news?

Hot take
Amorims system is already and will continue to work, he just needs the finishing gods coin flip to start landing in his favour.
