@TheRedJinty I must say though, blind hope is pointless. We must use our hope as fuel for action, strong and organised action. We will not see a brighter dawn unless we mobilise and ACT
@TheRedJinty But imagine how wonderful it would be to watch things improve. Imagine how wonderful it would be to reach old age, knowing how dark these times were, and seeing humanity heal. There is hope, it is always darkest before the dawn. Here's to hoping we see the dawn.
I cannot stress how important it is that you close your eyes and picture this, RIGHT NOW: The thing has long since happened. The extinction burst is over, and sanity prevails. We have the most competent, progressive leaders who work with others throughout the world to make it better for everyone. The cult is gone. Intellectualism is trending. Your dogs are playing in the yard as you sip a fine beverage and read about the healing climate.
@N104AP You are living to do as much good as you can, to work as hard as you can to end the corrupt system for good. We work today so our children need not see this world as we do now.
do not give in to defeatism yall, they want us to resign ourselves to no future rather than have us hold accountable those responsible, who are very much still alive.
I GENUINELY do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonald’s should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That’s kind of the whole point of having a job and I can’t believe this is considered a radical position for me to take.
“It worked, boom.”
That’s Nigel Farage celebrating a Reform UK plot to break election law - by having a US company secretly pay for three influential political polls that benefitted the party.
Earlier in the investigation, Reform’s Head of Policy James Orr and senior advisor Dan Jukes arranged for a Verbatim reporter to pay for the polls through a US company. Orr and Jukes believed the firm was run by the reporter’s American father.
Mr Farage was filmed by undercover reporters from @Verbatim_Media as part of a year-long investigation that Channel 4 News has thoroughly checked and verified.
This meeting took place in his Clacton constituency in July - when Mr Farage was fighting a by-election he called after separate allegations about his finances.
