.@OREsupply is hard money for a digital age. ⛏️
Every token has to be mined, only 3 million will ever exist, and the ability to mint more has been permanently destroyed onchain. Not even the team can undo it.
Mined by anyone. Capped by code.
Hey, I’m seeing a major issue with SLVR mining: the bet transaction gas usage is extremely high.
From recent successful bet receipts, a normal full-board SLVR bet is using around 3.6M-5.2M gas, with the recent median around 4.63M gas. Since the strategy usually needs to deploy across 25 squares, this fixed transaction cost becomes very large relative to the bet size and SLVR reward value.
This makes many rounds look protocol-positive before gas, but negative after execution cost. In practice, the bot often needs a much larger bet size just to overcome the fixed deploy gas, which increases risk and makes small/medium profitable mining hard.
Is this expected from the current contract design? Is there any way to optimize the bet function, reduce per-square storage writes, add a cheaper batch route, or provide an SDK/contract method that reduces gas for 25-square deployments?
The main blocker right now is not only EV or competition, but the fixed gas cost per bet.
You can now track daily bean emissions vs burns in real time directly on our global page.
We will continue to have our focus on making bean more deflationary in any way we can. Tracking started from yesterday.

Ready?
The seasons are changing and will bring their share of surprises. 👀
Let's energize mining and make it more efficient and less monotonous. Winters will be cold and wood will burn, and summer will be the time to prepare for that.
Address the weaknesses of v2 and make it more fun than any existing SoV. Soon.🪓
