Tomorrow, I will be heading back to my Alma Mater (@DesertEdgeHS) to be play-by-play for the #17 in 5A AZ @CienegaFootball Bobcats vs #1 in AZ 5A/#5 in all AZ @DEdgeFootball Scorpions Second Round playoff match, streaming on the @VarsShow.

The Scorpions are coming off of a bye week, entering this match 10-0 on the season (14-game winning streak continued from last year) and well rested. All eyes are on 4-⭐️ and @MaxPreps #7 in AZ QB Jr. @roskopf_blake, 5-⭐️/@247Sports #2 ranked 2028 football recruit in the country So. DE @JalanieGeorge15, 4-⭐️ CB/@AggieFootball commit @CamHamiel, tackle/tackle-for-loss leader SS @AntonioPara38, and others to make big plays.

The Bobcats are coming off of a big First Round 49-35 road upset win over the 8-2 Sunnyslope Vikings, with MaxPreps #9 QB in AZ Sr. @JulianHainley14 having his best game of the season: 424 passing yds, 4 TDs, INT, 50 rush yds, and 3 rushing TDs. Cienega’s best overall WR @Jaden_Rodgers5 had a great game as well with 6 rec. for 189 yds and 2 TDs, putting him over 1k rec. yards on the season.

Also keep your eyes open on DE Andrei Davis-Lopez (@andreitheathlete via Instagram) as he is tied for 3rd in the country with 24 sacks (3 vs Desert Edge in week two), only two behind the country’s sack leader from @NFBulldogsFB High School, DL @JaveonTaylor32.

Last matchup between these two teams: 26-0 win for the Scorpions at home (held Cienega to just 50 total yards).

Will the massive underdogs in the Cienega Bobcats find a way to pull off the upset? Or will the Scorpions’ dominant season continue?

Here we are: the final Friday of high school football for the regular season. Tonight, I’ll be field correspondent for @MVToro_Football (5-4) vs @HHS_Hawks_FB (4-5).

Both teams with up and down seasons, but this match is extremely critical for both squads with the playoffs coming up next week.

Will the Hawks, who started 0-4, complete the bounce back and make it to the dance? Or will the Toros finish 6-4 and head to the postseason as a potential higher seed and potentially end the Hawks season? We’ll find out at 7pm tonight.

This was a good game last night. @SunDevilHockey scored the first goal in the first period, but after that, it was all @lopeshockey, scoring two unanswered goals off of ASU mistakes and GCU goalie Dmytro Kubrytskyi played a heck of a game, only giving up one goal on 23 shots.

GCU moves to 7-4. ASU goes down to 4-5-1.

Last nights’ @FootballBrophy and @saguarofootball match was fun to commentate. Even though many hoped it would’ve been a closer game, the Broncos showed who’s the better team, winning 41-8 and improving to 5-4.

@devinfitz118 finished with 5 catches for 110 yards and a TD (his 10th of the season). A solid bounce back performance from last week.

Running back @chambersharrry scored two TDs (first time this season) and ran 79 yards, his second best rushing yards game.

@Ryder_Noche_ opened the game with a 99-yard kickoff return TD, made some good plays on defense, and had a blocked field goal later in the game.

One more week of football for these squads in the regular season. Then… playoff time.
