Happy to report Lauren from @UtilitaEnergy has been able to change my meter back to credit mode so I at least have supply until the erroneous switch is looked into. Thank you!!
Day 8 with no heating or hot water in now freezing temperatures in Glasgow. Always same story when I phone @UtilitaEnergy - on hold for up to 2hrs, explain situation, hold again then the line drops. Hope @BulbUK emergency metering team has gotten to our case!
@UtilitaEnergy spent 10+hrs on the phone to you over the last week as I’m without gas supply - account was erroneously switched to you from @BulbUK by neighbours so I can’t access the account. Need someone to contact me ASAP, call just dropped with customer switching after 1hr30

@CrossCountryUK I have a ticket for the 19:00 train from Glasgow Central to Newcastle tomorrow evening, just heard it’s been cancelled - could you please advise about travel on another service (ScotRail-Edi., Avanti-New.)? Not seeing any later XCountry trains tomorrow eve!
My friend Matt and I are running a half-marathon on 2nd October and raising money for @RCCGlasgow, any donations are great! Obviously, if this causes financial distress, please do not donate. Your thoughts for our suffering are more than enough: https://t.co/NcnIlKipLt
Would love to know why a @glasgow_taxis driver pulled up, saw one of our group was in a wheelchair and immediately drove off, claiming trip was completed. Made us wait 45 mins in cold for a more “amenable” driver. Discriminatory and intensely hurtful for all involved.
@MaltCullen@thephdbreakdown I realised a Joker-esque breakdown was very plausible almost immediately, but if I wanted to make it a sure thing maybe I’d do Hegel and all that crowd!
Every time I have a programming question and I rly need help, I post it on Reddit and then log into another account and reply to it with an obscenely incorrect answer. Ppl don’t care about helping others but they LOVE correcting others. Works 100% of the time

@Tesco Thanks so much Lucas, I really appreciate your understanding - it was a very uncomfortable situation and I felt it a point worth making especially for people more vulnerable to severe illness from covid than myself. Being out is hard enough as it is at the minute with omicron!
@Tesco just had a horrible experience at your Glasgow Parkhead store - staff member asked me to remove mask for age verification, I provided alternative proof of age but they were not satisfied and refused sale. I was very embarrassed and they had no legal right to ask this.
@Tesco I fully understand refusal of sale for doubt around my age but I tried to provide legitimate verification (photo ID) and the colleague refused to acknowledge and insisted on me removing my mask to verify, which I really think is unacceptable. What is your complaints procedure?
@Tesco This may be the case in other parts of UK but not in Scotland, where “Trading Standards expect the retailer to act in good faith and take reasonable steps to establish the purchaser’s age” but at no time are entitled to use mask removal to establish age or identity.
@Tesco Thanks for responding Calum, can you confirm why alternative evidence might not be accepted in this case by the colleague? Surely they would understand not everyone is in a position to open themselves up to further risk by removing their mask, even temporarily?
Can you tell me if this is part of your staff training? I can see nothing in @scotgov regulations that would suggest this staff member was within their rights to insist I remove my mask despite alternative, definitive evidence of age being provided.
