Tesla has announced that it will increase production output at its Giga Berlin factory by another 20% to 7,500 vehicles per week starting in October of this year.
This is in addition to the 20% production output increase previously announced a few months ago.
Tesla will hire 1,000 additional employees by October for this new increase in production.
"3,500 additional jobs will be created in the short and medium term for vehicle and battery manufacturing at the plant," Tesla said.
Tesla has secured a massive Megapack order worth up to $5 billion from NatPower to supply more than 25 GWh of battery energy storage systems across Italy and the UK.
25 GWh is more than half of the installed annual production capacity at Tesla's Megapack factory in California.
@Tesla will provide its latest products, including its Megapack battery energy storage system, EPC and bankable trading services. NatPower will also benefit from long-term revenue warranties through Tesla’s Autobidder platform.
"Tesla is excited to partner with NatPower on this long-term agreement. They have a strong vision for scaling battery deployments quickly and efficiently across Europe," says @mike_megapack, VP of Energy and Charging at Tesla.
"Our team of experts are helping accelerate these deployments through our vertically integrated offering, providing hardware, software, construction, trading optimisation and service to bring projects online faster and ensure they operate smoothly throughout the lifetime of the product."
This blatantly irresponsible reporting does more harm to people than they realize.
Using Tesla self-driving is far safer than manual driving, and this was measured over 10B miles.
Planting such FUD in the minds of general public, who might not know the all the facts, might prevent them from using this technology that makes them safer.
After nearly 18 years I can stop working on Model S and X. We put so much love into these products, but will continue to pour that into the future products. Thanks to everyone who believed in and supported these cars through the years. We strived for the best and will never stop. Saying goodbye to something great and making room for something even greater!
After a car accident left her paralyzed from the neck down, Audrey didn’t think she would be able to draw or paint again.
20 years later, she became the first female participant in our clinical trials. Now, she uses her brain-computer interface to create art with her mind.

🚨Tesla Invests To Expand Giga Berlin
• Tesla is investing an additional $250 million to build a battery cell production line at its Gruenheide factory in Germany.
• The new line will produce 18 GWh of battery cells per year, create over 1,500 jobs, and start supplying cells directly to vehicle production around 2027.

L’Olanda ha approvato la guida autonoma supervisionata di Tesla dopo 18 mesi di test: una persona resta sempre al volante e deve mantenere la massima attenzione. L’Italia potrebbe approvarla da subito tramite regolamento EU. Sarebbe bello, Italia @GiorgiaMeloni@matteosalvinimi
BREAKING: Tesla has announced that FSD (Supervised) has officially been approved in the Netherlands and will begin rolling out to customer cars shortly, marking the first country in Europe to get approval!
This clears the path for approval in other European countries. EU-wide approval could come as soon as this summer.
As of today, @Tesla is officially the first company to offer robotaxi rides to the general public with no safety monitors and using only cameras (no LiDAR or radar).
And they said it couldn't be done 😎
Sawyer, thank you for mentioning my post.
I’ve just found out that my experience has been share by a lot of people including Elon and Tesla AI.
Tesla's recent launch of FSD was the first public application in Korea. It also means we haven't really had the chance to understand what is happening on the roads globally. That's why I wanted to take a hands-on experience and share it online.
I plan to encourage more policymakers in the country to give it a try. Keep your eyes on Korea!
Here in Korea, we love innovations and new technologies, and I can't wait to see the changes it will bring to our community.
