I was looking for a replacement for the outdated synty characters, and I ran across these. So I will still use synty assets, but with these characters.

I setup a blank UE5 project, and I'm thinking this could be the last major UE5 project I ever make. I'm honestly getting to old to care, and their is no financial benefit to me making games. this is all just for the love of creation, itself. Here we go.

I feel I'm at a cross roads. I'm trying to decide if I should double down on UE5, or embrace UE6 now.

The other day I started a new project, and already I will be creating the same project over. Then reason for this, is simply to add my name into the code structure. So the project itself will be called, Gordon Morrow. Then I will have digitally signed my own template.

I decided to create a basic UE5 C++ Project, and start making my game prototype. My Game, My Rules.

After looking at the UE5 templates. I decided to do the horror game template first and since literally no one will play this game. I'm just following a simple tutorial video

After getting busy and not touching the UE5.6 templates. When I came back, I noticed that they are basically trash.

I did want to cheat a little bit and use them to save time.

It's a unreal Tuesday again, and I seen this asset pack and I had to grab it. I will use this one to start setting a tone for the multi-player course project I'm working on. I will be keeping an eye on this artist for sure.

Testing the weapon firing ray cast, and I think this is decent enough. I'm still testing different camera setups, and will like rebuild the entire camera system. Once I go through the entire course.
