Just got to the politically incorrect portion of lecture, yikes, I find it hard to believe he really believes what he’s saying and is more so just trying to stir controversy for viewership. #i2e21
Is there any philosophical stances on comedy? Some people get offended by certain things but do they have a right to be if no harm comes from the jokes ? #I2E21
It’s weird that I finished lectures on Tuesday but i waited until 4 minutes left to do my tweets. Kind of ruined the quality of the tweets 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ maybe we’ll be better next time #I2E21
I second this statement, I like this guy and i think he brought up valid points. I hope I get to see some of his other stances on philosophical topics #I2E21
@jozefgar In our kind of society I would say nobody really. In a lot of ways the government can get away with a lot and avoid punishment. Obviously if they violated the rights of another country that country has the right to retaliate #I2E21
Lets say you’re an independent completely isolated from society. But you would improve the society and increase the common good of society if you were apart of it. Is it your duty to join the society #I2E21
#I2E21 Just read the dilemma for unit exam 4 and I gotta say omelas is one of the most interesting concepts/stories. And honestly i think i would just replace the child with Janet at this point
#I2E21 This is slightly off topic but i was watching Westworld and they talk about what’s real. So i was wondering if you’re in like a vertical world where you don’t really have consequences do morals matter?
Also with Westworld one of the characters looks for purpose. So does a search for purpose exceed any kind of happiness or pleasure and just accept the feelings that come with this pursuit
