April 20, 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Okami! We'd like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the community for your support. Thank you!

To mark the occasion, the official 20th anniversary website is available now. The site features new a 20th anniversary illustration by Mari Shimazaki, one of the character designers for Okami. The red ribbon symbolizes the “en”—the bonds—between the characters of Okami and the community, bringing together Amaterasu and the game’s distinctive cast in a vibrant, tightly composed illustration.

The calligraphy character for “en” (“縁”) featured in the artwork was gracefully penned by calligrapher Masumi Narita, who also designed the Okami logo.

We hope you will continue to enjoy and support the Okami series in the years to come.

Hey!
It's been some time since I've shared any info on my new game - the development had its ups and downs but is going relatively stable at the moment.
I knew that making such a high quality game (compared to my previous ones) would be my ultimate challenge, but the desire to share the story with the world is too strong. But it's still funny to me how just one single artwork can take the same time and money to create as some of my previous games' full visuals!
I'm still very hesitant in terms of marketing the game - I want my games to reach the players naturally (by a word of mouth or randomly catching the attention on Steam, just as it always did), and, frankly, I'm just tired of seeing game advertisements every day. I'll try to stick to that strategy until the very end, but maybe something will change my view on that matter.

The current state of the game is as follows:
- The script has been almost fully translated to English (after editing, I will be sending the script to all the other translators)
- The OST now constists of 22 tracks, and it's only about a half of what's planned!
- The visuals are the most time-consuming part of the game, and there's still A LOT left. But I'll attach some parts of it so you have a better idea :)

@Cat_Guest1 @tildemaru @moongleamdream The M and D are paired together, it's not obligatory M then D, it's whichever comes first using left->right priorities. In that case, after you solved the P, you have a D then M scenario. Hope that makes more sense.

@Too__Pac Pour moi Sonny Boy est un genre d'OVNI dans le média. Je l'ai vu deux fois et j'ai encore du mal à cerner toutes les thématiques... Je trouve la réalisation assez "osée" mais dans le bon sens.
D'ailleurs de temps à autre je repense à l'épisode 11, il m'a beaucoup touché.

Pas aussi épique que le reste mais, j'ai kiffé malgré tout, pour une fois qu'on a Kurisu au centre de l'attention.
