"Have you eaten well?" is a common greeting in South Korea. It is used in a similar way an American may ask "How are you?"

Of course, because of the pandemic and public health concerns, it is possible that greeting etiquette may evolve. Watch your host for cues on whether or not a handshake is appropriate; if it is, be sure to give a proper Russian handshake by following these rules!

Children born in South Korea are considered to be "one year old" when they are born. They will turn two years old in the next Lunar New Year. The family will hold a big celebration for the baby once they turn 100 days old.
