What skills do young people need for future jobs?

Duhok Polytechnic University shows how young people are equipped with green and digital skills to respond to employers’ needs.

- 220+ complex child protection cases were followed up, for example, to bring children back to school.

The Netherlands, Germany, and the European Union support the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

In Erbil, trained social workers now actively manage individual cases that connect families to health or education services :

- 130+ social workers use their own online management information system to support people with disabilities.

In my meeting with EU Ambassador to Iraq @EUAmbIraq Klemens Semtner, we stressed the need to support the Federal Government’s efforts to strengthen the rule of law, bring all weapons under state authority, and safeguard Iraq’s sovereignty and stability.

We also emphasized that the current political environment offers a real opportunity to resolve the remaining issues between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad through dialogue and in accordance with the Constitution.
