As much as I love to hate on the Disney Sequels... There is a part of me that thinks those 3 films could have been something great. All they really had to do was... 1) LET FINN BE A JEDI KNIGHT! Instead of cucking Finn and being all "Gotcha! Turns out Rey was the real jedi! ๐Ÿคก" Actually let Finn be the one who goes through the Jedi training as he was the person being hyped up to fill that role in the first place. 2) MAKE REY STRUGGLE! To add on to my previous point, if you are going to imply that Rey is strong with the force (and also Palpatine's damn granddaughter ๐Ÿ’€), she should ACTUALLY fall to the dark side! It would've hit so much harder if she was the one to REPLACE Kylo Ren rather than have this odd back-and-forth relationship with him... 3) PALPATINE DOES NOT "SOMEHOW RETURN"! I love Palpatine as much as the next guy, but I will die on the hill that 'Snoke' should have been the big bad for all 3 movies. Even if you include the plot point that he is a Darth Sideous clone, it would have been refreshing to see a new big bad who actually has an oppurtunity to shine and establish a presence in the Star Wars universe. When they killed him in the 2nd movie, it was jaw dropping, but NOT IN THE GOOD WAY. He was in the middle of his character development, and Disney literally threw him out.
