@Euro_Cham leadership paid a courtesy visit to H.E. @EyobTolina, Governor of @NBEthiopia, to discuss macroeconomic and FX reforms. EuroCham noted that 20 of the 27 challenges raised by the EU FDI community during an earlier technical meeting with the NBE have been resolved.

On January 29, we opened our new office in Addis Abeba and launched the EU FDI Incubation Centre, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Zeleke Temesgen, Commissioner of @EthioInvestment.
The Centre serves as a one-stop support hub for European investors entering Ethiopia.
@Euro_Cham joined the EU Economic Counsellors’ Business Trip to Dire Dawa this week, organized with the @EUinEthiopia and the @GerEmbAddis. The visit covered Ethiopia’s first Free Trade Zone, alongside key logistics and service institutions.
@EUinEthiopia and @Euro_Cham signed a new 3-year grant agreement last week to strengthen the Chamber and improve Ethiopia’s business environment. The ceremony was followed by a Public-Private Dialogue between the Ethiopian government and European businesses.
