The regulatory landscape for kratom is shifting, and your voice matters more than ever!!

📜 Here’s what’s happening:
Germany’s Joint Expert Commission has been reviewing kratom since June 2024. So far, kratom has not been classified as a narcotic. But discussions on classifying it as a medicinal product continue, with an official warning recently issued against medical use.

⚖️ These frameworks would impact advertising, distribution, and formulation, shaping the future of kratom in Europe!!

New Law Supports Safe Access to Kratom in the Czech Republic

@prezidentpavel has signed a law introducing clear and balanced regulations for kratom, allowing adults to buy it safely from specialized stores and online. This step ensures responsible access while protecting consumers, as products must not resemble toys or candy, and only adults can enter these shops. Vending machine sales are prohibited to maintain quality control.

The regulation acknowledges kratom’s low-risk profile by including it on a list of substances with minimal health risks. This progress creates a pathway for safe, legal access while ensuring new substances are properly evaluated. Permits for sellers will be available through the Ministry of Health, marking a significant win for kratom’s future in the Czech Republic!
