#23 – Zubr .45 ACP

The Zubr is a double-action revolver with a distinctive design. Unlike most other revolvers, the muzzle position is aligned with the bottom chamber of its cylinder. This change reduces the muzzle rise after shooting by directing the recoil more into the shooter's wrist.

Chambered in .45 ACP with a muzzle velocity of 480 m/s, this heavy revolver is the sidearm of choice for CSAT officers. The Zubr can also be equipped with a Yorris J2 red dot sight via its top rail, while an underbarrel rail supports flashlight accessories.

The biggest drawback of the Zubr is its ammo capacity. With a six round cylinder and a slower reload time, this puts the Zubr at a serious disadvantage compared to other modern high capacity, semi-automatic sidearms.

The double-action nature of the revolver is another disadvantage, as the cylinder will rotate after the trigger is pulled, causing a short delay before the round is fired from the chamber.
