As I'm working on these Tech Quest activities every week in my EDTE 4200 class with @doctor2pi, I'm always learning something new and it's amazing to know that there are so many resources that we future teachers can use to teach our future students :) #csubted
@mvprincess4life @teachsci8@tom_karnes Hi Melissa!! I believe that students can gain lots of clear understanding through talking about whatever they have learned with different students because it opens up their minds by listening on what others know and don’t know from one concept to another. #csubted@doctor2pi
@teachsci8@doctor2pi A4) We can promote children to publishing and producing technology by incorporating some projects and assignments that involve using the tools, like creating powerpoints and discussion videos through flipgrid. This has children to become more responsible. #csubted. @doctor2pi
@AntonsenBrooke@Ststansberry@Duncannedd Hi Brooke!! I love the fact that we can be able to hear what people from around the globe have to say on anything that we like to do, whether if it’s catching up on a specific sports team, to talking about huge trends that goes on through our social media. @doctor2pi#csubted
@simranbrarrr@Ststansberry@Duncannedd Hi Simran!! I totally agreee with you on Outlook. Since I’ve made some friends in some of my classes, I use the app to communicate with them, for reasons like catching up on what we learned in class or if we’re stuck on something in an assignment. @doctor2pi#csubted
@Ststansberry@doctor2pi A3) Technology has made collaboration a lot easier. Google for example, has provided apps like gmail and classroom where it can make many ways of communicating a lot more fun. It’s also very helpful when it comes to working with people’s different schedules. #csubted@doctor2pi
@AndreaP39359983@tom_karnes Hi Andrea!! I totally agree with you on having to make a video on the kids while they were at the zoo. It would be a great way to develop a discussion with them on what they enjoyed at the zoo, and what did they learn out of this trip. #CSUBTED@doctor2pi
@DomoniqueCruz17@tom_karnes@Tech_Buddha Hi Dominque!! It's so cool how you took a cooking class in high school!! Another tool that would have been helpful when it came to looking for food recipes is Pinterest, since a list of different results would pop up. #CSUBTED@doctor2pi
@tom_karnes@doctor2pi My favorite memory that I had in all of my school years was going on a 4 day trip to camp KEEP in the 6th grade. My experience didn't involve any technological component but it would have been helpful at one point, like using an app that would provide facts. #CSUBTED@doctor2pi
@LaurynYarbroug2@doctor2pi @EddiesClass @teachsci8@Tech_Buddha@Ststansberry Hey Lauryn!! I think that it's so amazing that you already have a specific grade on what you want to teach. I'm still considering on what grades I want to teach, but it'll take me some time.
A1) My favorite technology resource that I thought that was pretty cool is Edmodo. I've never used it before until now since I'm taking this course, and it's great to communicate with the rest of the classmates and helping each other out on whatever we may get stuck on. #CSUBTEd
Hi Erin!! I'm in Dr. A's EDTE 4200 class as well, and I wish you the best in your career as you're almost finished!! I hope you can find one of the tools that we've used from class to be so helpful once you start your teaching :)
