Man charged with multiple offences yesterday after bomb scare in Melbourne’s CBD, putting Collins Street under lockdown.

A part of Collins Street was blocked off and some buildings put into lockdown shortly after midday today as a police operation unfolded in the area.

A 33-year-old-man has been arrested and police say the matter is not terror related with no immediate threat to community safety.
