It’s been a great experience to work on the project. Being such a mammoth survey, I have certainly learnt a lot, explored the country and got rained on plenty of times.

Pleased to share that I have secured a promotion as a @NaturalEngland Field Ecologist!

I have learnt so much as an assistant on the team and am looking forward to continue working on NCEA surveys such as the England Ecosystem Survey (EES) and the England Peat Map (EPM) 🌱

Some frosty shots taken doing England Peat Map (#EPM) surveys around #Kielder at the end of last year. The first time I’ve ever seen hair ice and it turns out #sphagnum might look even more pretty when frozen! ❄️🌲

Another great online course by @speciesrecovery! Just completed ‘Aquatic Plant ID’, which will be exceptionally helpful for riparian/pond surveys.

Previously attended both ‘Grass ID’ ones and the ‘Habitat Indicators’ course which were also great! 🌿
