The day we collectively realised how many media outlets had jumped on the misinformation bandwagon, many of us wanted to do something reckless : contact major news outlets, reach out to large accounts, and push for coverage ourselves. In the end, we agreed that doing so would likely make the situation worse.

Amd so we chose to be patient. Blindly trusting that someone will cover it objectively. We became louder, we remained civil, we kept doing good things, and we took on the role of clearing up misinformation whenever possible.

It may not have spread as quickly or as widely as the fire of misinformation did, but what matters is that these recent articles are genuine. They're objective and measured. They're not inflammatory nor full of hate.

Two weeks ago, this would have been nothing more than wishful thinking and yet here we are. The community accomplished what should never have fallen on players in the first place.

Now it's your move, @Love_Deepspace.

Do the right thing. Release Valko as originally intended. Clean up the damage your silence allowed to spread, take full responsibility for how this was handled, and rebuild the trust that was lost.
