Please, help me close this fundraiser.
I have very little time left for activity and reaching new people. I just want to complete this mission and finally take a step back.
I’m tired of constantly running fundraisers. I want to use this platform to communicate, connect with people, and share my thoughts — not spend all my time asking for support.
Please hear me. Thank you for understanding.
Bart De Wever and his government must realize that failing to transfer frozen Russian assets to Ukraine before French elections and a new Russian mobilization would be a historic blunder.
Belgium would bear responsibility for the catastrophic fallout
Ukraine's Defence Forces continue to systematically destroy the aggressor's military and economic potential.
Strikes deep inside enemy territory are a clear strategy for bleeding the Russian war machine dry, Minister of Defence of Ukraine Evgeniy Khmara said.
In the past day alone:
- The Kirishi oil refinery in Leningrad region was hit. That is hundreds of thousands of tonnes of fuel that will never reach Russian tanks.
- A large fire broke out at Yeysk airfield in Krasnodar Krai after a direct hit.
- A Shahed preparation and launch base was struck in Millerovo, Rostov region, one of the sites Russia uses to send drones against Ukraine.
- The "Kover" plan, closed airspace and air raid alerts covered 10 Russian regions at once. Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow and Sochi airfield in Adler suspended operations.
A number of refineries have been hit over the course of this week:
- 25 August — the Afipsky refinery, one of the largest oil processing plants in Krasnodar Krai.
- 26 August — the Kstovo oil refinery, the fourth largest refinery in Russia and the second largest by petrol output.
- 28 August — the Slavneft-YANOS refinery in Yaroslavl.
There is no such thing as a "deep rear" for our Deep Strike systems. The Russian war machine will burn wherever it prepares its crimes.
Po dvou týdnech opět ve Zbytečné válce. S @vlastislavbriza jsme stručně probrali návštěvu šéfa CIA v Moskvě. Nepouštěli jsme se do spekulací, spíš jsme se věnovali souvislostem. Vývoj ruské agrese proti Ukrajině v tradičních rolích – Vlasta to opět viděl optimističtěji než já.

The combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to August 30, 2026.
For several days, Russians are pouring drones and missiles on Kyiv's civilian population, aimed purely at residential buildings, healthcare facilities, shopping areas.
Average daily death count over the past four days is now 15.

Since last evening, efforts have been underway in the village of Myla near Kyiv to deal with the aftermath of a Russian drone strike. On-site coordination centers have been set up to assist people. All necessary services are deployed. State Emergency Service units are on the ground – with more than 300 personnel involved. A warehouse was struck, followed by a detonation. Unfortunately, the surrounding infrastructure has suffered significant damage – residential buildings, as well as a care home for elderly people and people with disabilities, have been damaged. As of now, 27 people have been reported killed. One of those killed was the head of the Dmytrivka community, Taras Didych. He was rescuing people. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. Dozens of people have been injured. More than 370 people have already been evacuated, and the evacuation is ongoing. I received reports from Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vyhivskyi. Those who allowed this to happen must be held accountable for their decisions. Investigators from the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine are conducting a pre-trial investigation, and criminal proceedings have been opened on charges of official negligence. There are regulations in place – ammunition cannot be stored near homes or other residential areas. Appropriate conclusions will certainly be drawn.
There were also strikes on our regions overnight – the Odesa, Dnipro, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Donetsk, and Chernihiv regions. More than 260 attack drones were involved, as well as Banderol drones. Kyiv is under virtually nonstop attack from jet-powered drones. Ukraine cannot be left alone in finding solutions to defend against such strikes, and I thank everyone who is helping with additional support packages and sanctions steps against Russia.
"What separates this generation from all the ones before is that it has a real chance to defeat the enemy. The new defense minister wants to win—and he has his own vision for how to do it."

APPLEBAUM: Corruption investigations in Ukraine are coming from inside Ukrainian government.
Try to imagine that right now in United States, and you can't do it.
It's as if FBI were investigating Trump family companies, which is unimaginable, right?
TARLOV: That's very funny.
APPLEBAUM: In other words, these are Ukrainian inside the government organizations that are dedicated to looking for corruption and fighting it.
And so, actually, what you have, this exposure of corruption, is evidence of democratic institutions working in Ukraine.
The fact that so much is known, that it's openly discussed, that people debate it and talk about what should be done.
That makes Ukraine right now a more open and more effective democracy than United States.
Always keep that in mind when you talk about corruption.
Russia is still advancing in Donbas. Slowly, brutally, but advancing.
It’s uncomfortable to say. But it’s true. Pretending otherwise doesn’t help Ukraine.
If the world stops watching because it thinks Russia is losing, Russia gets exactly what it needs: time.
