@IanCopeland5@MakisMedicine “Vernon County, where Viroqua is located, has by far the lowest rate of vaccinations against measles in the state. Only 42 percent of 2-year-olds had the shot last year, according to data from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.”
@IanCopeland5@MakisMedicine On the topic of Wisconsin - it’s experiencing a large and growing measles outbreak among its (you guessed it) unvaccinated population:

@SonnyBunch Thought of this as the movie was ending:
“The Social Network” exists as a movie within the world of “The Social Reckoning”, so it would have actually been kind of strange if Eisenberg played Zuckerberg in “Reckoning”.
@PollsAndVotes@mgraps@NFL I’ve switched to mostly listening to Packers games while doing other things; changing the channel during the numerous commercial breaks.
I'm hardly the first to see this but here are flags thrown per (plays + pre-snap flags) in NFL games. I include declined and offsetting penalties. I'm focused on interruption of play, rather than yards charged. As large as it is, it feels like more when watching.
@JenniferEValent@atrupar Apparently @GOPMajorityWhip Tom Emmer used to be held in high esteem by a bipartisan cross-section of his House colleagues and fellow MN Congressional delegation members.
Then, he sold his soul for a leadership position or something.
@atrupar No Minnesotan has sold out his country and his state more than @GOPMajorityWhip Tom Emmer has; a total collapse of any sense of morality out of that man.
It’s like he’s suffered a personal apocalypse over the last 6 years and he’ll say anything to stay in The One’s good graces.
@sportsmike9134@RMBee If so, then I’d say it’s a happy accident that the role was recast, because even if that were Sorkin’s intention it’d be irrelevant; Eisenberg playing that role in “Reckoning” would have been fourth wall-breaking.
@atrupar Reminder that her son-in-law is running for her husband’s old House seat in northwestern WI.
@WisDems have their best candidate in years running to stop him:

An underrated aspect of RLM's success is specifically that they seem to have no Hollywood/influencer aspirations. They're always trying to make the videos better, not to optimize for big-$$$ brand deals or a future streaming series, but to keep making their fans happy.
