$69 million of Australian taxpayer money just helped a foreign fund outbid Australian farmers for Australian land
Let that hit home…..
Tasmania’s largest farm 22,000 hectares of productive dairy and beef country feeding Australian families for generations
Converting productive farmland into pine plantation for carbon credits a concept critics describe as paying to keep polluting rather than actually stopping anything
99% of locals opposed it
Not one Australian was asked
And a CEFC director from the same agency that invested the $69 million sat on the board that was supposed to independently approve it
Under a direct democracy model
Australians could have voted this down
We could have and we would have said no
This is no longer just about choosing which politicians run the show
This is about installing the safeguards that give us the power to say no in the first place
Start demanding more Australia and make this system change a Non Negotiable with your vote
Because nothing changes until we do

97 doctors from 2 states have now changed their opinion on the safety and benefits of suggesting tobacco harm reduction products to smokers who have tried other methods to quit smoking and failed. We will spread our message to another state in 6 weeks. In the meantime, we 1)3
have meetings booked with a further 12 doctors over the next 3 weeks.
They are aware of the political opposition to using THR, but our aim remains the sane. Which is to pave the way for smokers to be able to visit educated and unbiased doctors when a new, enlightened govt & 2)3
Health Minister is in power.
We will see positive change in Australia, but it won't happen until we rid ourselves of the current draconian policy makers.
Don't lose hope. Change will happen. 3)3
@Algore09algor@OzCableguy Vaping risk score 2.7
Smoking tobacco cigarettes risk score 100
What does Australia do? Ban vapes
Its incomprehensible, irresponsible, & beyond a sensible person's ability to understand their logic
Will kids still smoke cigarettes, yes, but they do nothing about that issue.
@therealrukshan Just like the UK, Canada, many EU countries and Australia it's all reactive, we are reacting to problems that all stem from government mismanagement!
To everyone in the global tobacco harm-reduction community. Consumers, advocates, scientists, independent researchers, frontline vape-shop professionals, and policy experts. Thank you!
Your commitment, your evidence-driven voices, and your refusal to give up on safer alternatives have changed lives. You’ve stood up against misinformation, stigma, and policy environments that too often ignore the lived experiences of people who have actually made the switch. This music video is dedicated to you, the people pushing for a future where fewer families are harmed by smoking, and where adults have access to tools that genuinely work.
But the mission is far from over. Millions still smoke, and far too many are making decisions in an environment clouded by misinformation. When the truth about safer alternatives is distorted or hidden, people are left without the knowledge they need to make informed, potentially life-changing choices. And while the consequences fall on individuals and families, the conversations and policies shaping these choices often exclude the voices of those most affected.
If you’ve switched from cigarettes to a reduced-harm product, or you know someone who has, please share this post. Help us amplify real stories, real science, and real hope. The more people who hear it, the more lives we can change.
Let’s keep moving forward. The work continues, and so does our collective impact.
@ianamossyd@Algore09algor The problem I see with this situation is the PM mr margoo has been signing off on all of this nonsense so has to cover his own ass. What’s with that?
Clever and true. Prohibitions fail to achieve their policy aims, produce immense economic and social costs, create black markets, and foster violence and corruption along the way. They're the perfect Do Something button for politicians.
