@JoshKraushaar Bad take away. Seth is just a bad candidate with terrible political instincts. Leading lots of MA Dems who would’ve loved someone younger to hold their nose and vote for Markey.
@ErasTourResell I’ve been a Taylor fan since I was in college in the late 00s but have never been able to see her live! I’ve spent tens of hours trying to get tickets to this tour just in past week and keep striking out but not giving up hope! Praying for two tickets for me and my partner to go!
Didn’t plan it this way but decided to hike the Podick/Katherine Cole/Szala Conservations Areas today and realized it was exactly one year from the last time I was here.
afternoon hike at the Podick/Katherine Cole/Szala Conservations Areas, a collaborative conservation effort between @TownOfAmherst, Hadley, & @KestrelTrust. highlights included vernal pools, pine-hemlock forests, and plenty of wetlands. an under the radar gem in North Amherst.
it’s vernal pool season, so I took a stroll through @thetrustees Mount Warner property after work to look for amphibian eggs and found a whole mess of wood frog (Lithobates sylvatica) eggs.
the barking choruses of wood frogs provided a noisy background for most of the hike.
just finished @aznfusion’s ‘How Far the Light Reaches’ and it’s one of my favorite books I’ve read in a while. if you like science & nature writing (esp marine biology), personal essays, and queer stories, you should definitely give it a read.
I just finished @BlairBraverman’s ‘Small Game’ (highly recommend!), which I’d heard of from her appearances on @yourewrongabout, and was thinking “why haven’t she and @Remember_Sarah done an episode on Chris McCandless?” And then I open podcasts today and BAM!
