All of the people saying they won’t watch the Super Bowl halftime show will be on here tomorrow posting their thoughts about how bad the halftime show was.
@cabsav456@NortheastHQ The worst take he’s ever had may be his comparing of January 6 rioters to Boston Tea Party participants. He thinks history will judge them the same way. Tremendous yikes.
@kathrynw5 One of my female friends visited Cincinnati from Indianapolis and wanted to grab dinner to catch up. My girlfriend came along too. It was fine and normal and an enjoyable evening. One of my buddies thinks that’s weird. IMO not weird at all.
I think we are overreacting with regard to Keller’s value. Not sure he’s bringing back a third baseman that gets the offense over the hump and into the playoffs.
The pitching would be stellar, however.
If the Pirates sign Framber Valdez ($30 million) and trade Mitch Keller ($17 million) for a third baseman, that's a playoff team. I don't think that's an overreaction.
Reupping. For those concerned in the House, I also oppose skirting around the filibuster.
We need to pass our conservative agenda, but not at the expense of our institutions.
This is obviously correct. Suarez helps raise the ceiling a bit, but McLain’s return to 2023 form, a complete season from Elly, and growth from key young guys matters far more. And obviously a healthy pitching staff.
An under-discussed factor is that Tito needs to manage better.
While signing Eugenio Suárez was a big need for this Reds club, @Nicholaspkirby believes it'll take contributions from core guys like Elly and McLain, plus a healthy rotation, for success in 2026.

American citizens are very clear:
Legal immigration is good and makes the US better. Illegal immigration is bad and Americans want practical, non-draconian enforcement of violation of law.
Neither party seems willing to provide the voters what they want.
There is nothing conservative (or smart) about nationalizing elections or even passing a law that allows for the federal government to supersede the states with regard to how it conducts elections. We need to shrink the size and scope of the federal government, not increase it.
Democrats should probably understand that voters may not like ICE, but they also don’t like open borders and lackadaisical enforcement of immigration laws.
Do you support or oppose deporting those illegally in the U.S. back to their country of origin?
