“Simpson's predictions for 2024 are truly chilling. In an episode dating back to 1998, the show hinted at an economic crisis, a nuclear war, and the death of the leader of the United States, all happening in the same year.

The episode in question, titled Bart to the Future, provides a glimpse into the future where Lisa Simpson has become the President of the United States. In a conversation with her team, Lisa mentions that the previous administration led by President Biden left behind budget problems and quite a mess. Later in the episode, a news bulletin reports a nuclear clash with an unspecified country, resulting in massive destruction and chaos.

While the idea of a nuclear war and an economic crisis is quite frightening, we can certainly hope that these Simpsons predictions do not come true. However, it's hard to ignore the show's track record in predicting major events.

Hello, I adopted the pseudonym Shytoshi Kusama before becoming a holder in Shiba Inu. It's not important who I am, but soon you will understand the reason behind it.

After joining Shib, I faced the same question that everyone else did: "Can we build a 100% decentralized, autonomous, and persistent community without a leader?"

This experiment started like any other but surpassed many others. For those who don't know the reasons why Shib is one of our most successful projects to date, please take a look at the history of Shib in our Woofpaper.

Ryoshi may have expected the answer to be simple, and in many ways it is. Many projects create a chain, set up tokens for governance, and slowly fade away over time. Please take a moment to think about it.

We realized that such an approach didn't work well for Shib. It didn't meet the initial goal of building a "leaderless, 100% decentralized, and autonomous persistent community."

Certainly, Shib has been and will continue to be fully decentralized. However, to ensure that everything is truly "persistent," it requires more delicacy, time, thought, planning, technology, strategy, and a significantly more rigorous structure than initially anticipated. Our unique decentralized structure described in the final Worldpaper, the dedicated efforts of thousands of decentralized Shib projects, and the power of the ShibArmy provide us with a different backbone than any other project.

Therefore, we propose an update to fulfill Ryoshi's initial vision and add intent to the original idea. How can Shib build a truly decentralized, persistent community that thrives in branded governance, blockchain technology, economy, territory, and entertainment environment? Is it infused with a vibrant spirit inspired by cyber resilience and exceptional abilities in real life, designed for a billion people?

Complex? Yes. So, we have distilled it into a simple mission statement: How does Shib save the world?

The answer has proven to be far more challenging than initially anticipated, but the structural design is complete, and we are now transitioning into the implementation phase.

This phase is the final stage and requires deep exploration of how to realize Ryoshi's vision and the strategies involved. This will enable all of us to act in unison. This discussion and revelation span hundreds of pages in various versions of the Worldpaper.

As such a massive document can be overwhelming, instead of initially releasing it as a large paper, we have decided to split it into smaller blog posts. These posts will be released throughout "Shibarium Summer," and the first post will be published today in Japanese for this amazing community. This day is celebrated as Shibapendence Day. The final paper will be released in its entirety on a special day as mentioned below.

Let's get started.

Basic Elements
To properly execute and manifest the mission, Shib requires a structure both technically and practically to allow the system to govern itself. Currently, there exists a DAO comprised of holders of tokens within the Shib ecosystem. We propose wrapping this DAO with the Cayman FOUNDATION.

In simple terms, the DAO (or in our case, multiple DAOs, as explained later) makes decisions on various topics, and the FOUNDATION executes those decisions while holding DAO assets (e.g., Doggy Treasury) responsible.

Many projects in this space have foundations, and it makes a lot of sense to follow in their footsteps.
