Metallica released “Load”, their sixth studio album and one of the most controversial records in the band’s history. Debuting at #1 in multiple countries, the album showcased a bluesier, hard rock-driven sound with standout tracks like “Until It Sleeps,” “King Nothing,” and “Hero of the Day.”

Love it or hate it, “Load” remains one of Metallica’s boldest reinventions.
