We're months away from the 2026 high school football season, but we already have the first major coaching change for the 2027 season.

Dr. Steven Wright will leave his position as the head football coach at Cardinal Gibbons High School to become the athletic director at St. David's School in January.

Assistant head coach/defensive coordinator Nick Drew has already been named Wright's successor.
