If we don’t fight for our country, very soon it will be us who are displaced and looking for opportunities and a better life in other peoples countries and then on top of that marrying people just to secure citizenship and making it out of South Africa will become an achievement ‼️‼️‼️
The year was 2024, South Africans were minding their own business...you know, we don't even care about #MissSouthAfrica, we didn't even realise there was was a Nigerian in the final, then boom!

HAPPY NELSON MANDELA DAY TO ALL
On this Nelson Mandela Day I want to remember uTata not as the saint but the revolutionary, uRolihlahla. The one who struck fear deep at the heart of the most cruel system ever imposed on a race, apartheid. At the height of this system, his movement the African National Congress was facing defeat because of its passivist approach to Pretoria and Madiba and his generation knew that the only way to resuscitate the ANC and fight against apartheid was to adopt an armed struggle, this was what I could call the first renewal of the ANC in the face of defeat. Indeed this armed struggle would target key infrastructure but never target civilians, this was Madiba at his finest. Fighting against a system that wanted to kill him and his people but still never resorting to kill human beings no matter how evil they were. They hunted him even calling him the Black Pimpernel because that’s how difficult it was to find this giant of the revolution. This is a side of him we should never forget and should celebrate, his versatility and agility when faced with challenges.
Our country indeed should learn from this versatility and willingness to renew when faced with challenges just as Madiba did, as we face moderate economic growth and unemployment we should recognise the efforts of Madibas movement and the need to renew our organisation and society for even greater prosperity and progress. On this Mandela Day may we not only celebrate his birthday but the birth of a united sense of nationhood. One that is focused singularly on the upliftment of the most vulnerable and despondent in our society. Madiba strived for his movements historical creed and promise, a South Africa that is non-sexist, non-racial and democratic society. On this Mandela Day we affirm that long held creed and promise.
