This reminds me of my senior year, last JV game of the season. I had a chance to walk it off but the 2nd basemen made a nice catch on a routine fly. We lost and that was the end of my long but successful baseball career.

After a long weekend of amateur baseball I have only one question: What happened to the long ball? We used to see moon shots almost every game. Now we have teams bunting? Trying to hit opposite field? I even heard one fan say “hit and run” 🤮 Hard to hit an 0-2 bomb by “battling”

@KedRepulsive @MinnBaseball @Wtrvindians The runner that scored on the squeeze play ended up being called safe at second to start the inning when he was out by a good foot and a half. The base ump blew a call at first earlier in the game too, home plate ump ended up apologizing on behalf of the base ump.

@don_kydic @Wtrvindians The obvious missed call at second that ended up scoring on that squeeze play was one of the worst calls I’ve seen as a long time baseball fan. Both teams deserved to win but no team deserves to end their season on bad calls like that.
