Well done Katie Taylor.
The Bray Boxer is still the undisputed lightweight champion of the world after defeating Miriam Gutierrez on Saturday night in London.
@radiodeclan speaks to Eve Carr from @MONKSTOWNBC
“I’m seeing this support for McGoldrick, Zaha, Sterling and that - rightly so.”
“But I’ve been abused for the last nine years - where has my support been?”
“I’ve had police at my door taking finger prints because bullets were sent.”
Must listen from James McClean.

Her Sport Athlete Of The Year:

The undisputed lightweight champion holding all four belts AND a super-lightweight champion.
What a year.
Thanks to all that voted.
Clubs from Belfast and all over Ireland who come from so many different backgrounds but yet shake hands and embrace after the final bell. This is the power of boxing in OUR community and sport in general. Congratulations to all the boxers and thanks to all involved.
Something I've noticed that after a big win (or big loss) within a few days nobody really cares. Life goes on, everyone has their own problems. So if you win dont celebrate too much and if you lose don't be too hard on yourself, either way it'll pass. Just get back after it!
Ah now. That would be impolite. We hope our Danish visitors have a wonderful time in Dublin. Until kick off at 7.45, after which we hope it is thoroughly miserable for them. #IRLDEN#COYBIG
