Lived long enough to watch you centre yourself in every story and speak w disdain on people’s questions. Lived long enough to watch you become the same thing you purport to fight. You’re a distraction atp, probably subconsciously, the biggest psyop. Langu jicho tu.
Trump paused USAID when he came to power and said, “Africans should handle African problems.” I wonder why the US wants Kenya, an African country, to handle their Ebola problem.

It feels like my country is a horror movie. High school fires and deaths. Unsolved child disappearances. Rampant un-investigated murders. Unwelcome introduction of a deadly Ebola virus to a defenseless country. Sexual assault allegations on a strong opposition political movement.
I am genuinely sorry for what you experienced. It’s sad & unfortunate. And I understand your disappointment with Maraga, not as the one who hurt you, but for his silence & failure to protect you.
But here is the thing that I don't get it..a thread 🧵
@lucymutungi@Honeyfarsafi Exactly! I believe it was after 2013 that national and other high school levels were instructed to take in more students even though the dorms and classes were originally built to accommodate only a certain number of students. So hallway in this case was a makeshift sleeping area
Bruh! 16 children are dead in a school fire. We are opening borders up to terrorism & Ebola. Dawa zimelala KEMSA expired. Children & women are dying everyday. Fuel prices, proposed finance bill, murder in police cells, looting, education ruined, unemployment, pia wewe hutajam?
used to not understand why europeans complained about temps that are normal to my tropical country until i summered in italy and actually almost died multiple times from the heat 😭 it was like they had a completely different sun 😭

My cousin drowned when we were kids. At least that’s what everyone believed because nobody actually saw him die. They only found his slippers near the river and assumed the current took him. Three days later, during his funeral, someone knocked on the door. My aunt opened the curtain and screamed so loudly people outside heard it. It was him. Wet. Barefoot. Smiling like nothing had happened. Everyone panicked except my grandmother. She looked at him once and quietly said, “Don’t let him inside.” My uncle thought grief had made her lose her mind and tried opening the door, but grandma grabbed his arm and whispered, “We buried him yesterday.” The thing outside kept smiling for a few seconds… then its face slowly changed. The smile disappeared. Its voice became deeper, wrong somehow, and it said, “You weren’t supposed to notice.” Immediately the lights went out. The entire night we heard footsteps circling the house while it whispered, “Let me in.” Nobody slept. Nobody moved. By morning, grandma was gone. The front door was wide open, and outside in the mud were two sets of footprints. One belonged to her. The other looked human… except the toes pointed backwards....
Wezi wa grill ya diplomatic vehicle wameshikwa in record 1 day time. Meanwhile we are still looking for baby killers and stealers. Being Kenyan is hard.
