@MisofistNSFW@Staroxvia His is wrong. Above 50V AC is much safer then dc. If you grab an ac wire there is a shock and your muscles spasms knocking you free. DC will cause your muscles to tence up locking you in place and making you part of the electric circuit. That is why AC was originally picked.
@BoLoudon So your saying the J6ers should be locked up. Does that mean that trump was wrong for parde ing them?or will you twist yourself into a knot to say that what happen on J6 was ok?
@Apple so i have never had an iphone, but did have an itunes accout. A fraudulent transaction just happened, but because i dont have an apple device i cannot flage the transaction. Yoi need to fix your website, or do you not care about security?
@Prune602 The maskava sinking,
A tank turret tossing,
Russians on a horse chased by a drone,
Medic dumping wounded to run away,
The amputee parades,
Churches russian drones have destroyed,
Drunken russia street walkers,
The t72 putting it berrel into a tree runnibg away.
So many choices.
@ArmorMark7@ZacksJerryRig@blind_via Because that is what this stems from. People not wanting them in their communities, because of increased utility costs from the draw the data centre makes. and musk going we could put them in space. Im not saying its impossible, just not economical any time soon.
@ArmorMark7@ZacksJerryRig@blind_via I cannot foresee the economics of space travel getting so much cheaper is the near future. even with more competition, and commodification of space hardware, it will still be extremely costly. A more realistic approach would be data centres building out independent utilities.
@ArmorMark7@ZacksJerryRig@blind_via Is for some reason twice the cost of the sever at 6 million. So no let think like a business owner. Identical outcomes, one way costs 45 million, the other costs 6 million. Witch one do you choose?
@ArmorMark7@ZacksJerryRig@blind_via Let me play devil's advocate far a bit here. Lets assume you can get the mass, volume, the cost of the parts down to nothing and can put 2 in a super heavy to geo orbit on a reusable flight. That still is 45 million per server. And lets assume that the earth based server... 1/2
@ArmorMark7@ZacksJerryRig@blind_via This also does not account for the framework, mechanisms needed to deploy all the parts. Sation keeping thrusters and fuel. Comunications antennas. Ground downlink sation. The list goes on and on. All this for a single server rack that will be obsolete in 5 years. Yep dumb idea.
@ArmorMark7@ZacksJerryRig@blind_via An additional point i didn't really mention is the volume all these pieces take up. Is it possible to fit in the payload bay of the super heavy? I dont know, but if it isnt then the cost and complexity of this just went up dramatically. 3/....
