Regarding the Highland Park shooting, there are two things I'm sure of:
1. Shooter was "known to authorities".
2. Shooter was on psychopharmaceuticals.

What was the last mass shooting you remember where you looked at the shooter and thought he was perfectly sane? They always seem to have severe psychiatric issues. So why aren't we talking about why so many young people are mentally ill?

I think a big part of the problem is that so many children and young adults are on psychiatric medications. We can't stop every mass shooting, but we could start there.

I understand how you feel. I've felt that before too. But I've never actually "believed" it. If we, as a society, went down that road, society would cease to exist. Eye for an eye, at the end of the day, means YOUR eye.

PS: Politicians are responsible for more deaths than all the mass shooters in US history combined. Are you ok with that?
