We've had a wonderful season of lunchtime concerts, and we're expecting today's, which features 1930s/40s style cabaret songs, to provide a memorable finale. TT2 regular Fergus Black is the pianist for singer Elaine Bishop, a mezzo soprano making her TT2 début.
Today's lunchtime concert features two musicians performing at St John's for the first time, and will be our first concert to feature the cello since 2019.
We also have an evening concert coming up on 10th June, when Peterborough Choral Society and Peterborough Baroque Ensemble will be bringing us "The Glory of Vivaldi". https://t.co/qD1DIXkv17
Yesterday's lunchtime #SpringConcerts at St Johns. I'm always fascinated by the playing of an instrument by two people at the same time. Elizabeth Mucha and Nigel Foster dueting on the #piano together made it look so easy n entertaining.

Caught a bit of the lunchtime concert at St Johns today. Part of their Spring Concert held every Tuesday. Today's excellent music came from Hannah Shilvock on bass clarinet and Viola Lenzi on piano.
Such a lovely way to spend an early afternoon 🎼 👌🏽 @EventsAtStJohns@AlunMW
Today's lunchtime concert features two Italian guitarists, Maurizio Baudino and Dario Vannini. It's the first time we've had a guitar duo performing at one of our classical concerts. As ever the pop-up café opens at twelve and the concert starts at 1pm.

A reminder that our first "Sunday Serene Sounds" concert is this afternoon, when we welcome St Martin's Singers. They'll be performing a varied programme with music for Easter, Spring, Shakespeare's Birthday and St George. 🌱🐣🎂🐉🏴
