Check out this design for an upcycled aeroponic system.
Most aeroponic systems are made with plastic molds.
For a product to be truly sustainable, it must be made out of sustainable materials, in the way that produces the least waste possible.
@ssasozaki @Rayyanzahid Hi! I use areoponics to grow plants in less time and with less water. The plants grow in atomized mist, rather than soil, so the nutrients are more bioavailable to the plants and there is no transmission of plant disease/fungus/bacteria. Areoponics uses 5-10%of the water as soil
With hydroponics, POC can farm without being threatened by conservatives.
“It’s really intimidating for people of color to go into some of these rural areas that are not only white-dominated but conservative-dominated… it’s not a safe and comfortable place to learn.”@CivilEats

"farming is not new to Black people. While some dominant modern narratives talk about urban agriculture as an innovative way to build community and fight food insecurity, Black folks in this country have been growing food in cities for as long as they have lived in cities."
