I criticized the "Tera Baap Aaya" ad by @SonyLIV yesterday because I found it cringeworthy and disrespectful towards the opposition.

Ironically, India lost both matches in which this style of campaign was aired, first against South Africa and now against Ireland. That's not the real issue, though.

The bigger problem is that such ads create an unnecessary perception that Indian fans are arrogant. In reality, it's a broadcaster's marketing campaign not a reflection of millions of Indian cricket fans. Most of us genuinely respect and support teams like Ireland, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, and Associate nations because we simply love the game of cricket.

Rivalry makes cricket exciting. Disrespect towards opponents doesn't.

@KantInEastt Almost all their players have come from the European system so they are good about 25 of 26 players are from the Netherlands and play Dutch league and PL. Just adding and It hurts that No India at the fifa wc but it's how things are.

Bro I have been in ahemdabad for 4 years now and maybe it's the best in all those aspects u just mentioned but olympics need better infra and about cleanliness and footpath I have seen people spread filth in the stadium and don't even talk about the crowds outside the stadium. True, these board administration's and icc and broadcasters all have milked money out of these and rarely do something good for the game, how idiot are they to reject 2 tier test cricket, sports work on context, promotion and relegation and winning that's all sports is about but people just want assured spots in wc and in test assured marquee series for money, such a dent in the long term.
